I love little pieces of history, and this year I've started keeping my eye out for WWII rations to add to my collection. I found these meat rations in the spring and have them on my inspiration board at the studio. I love how vividly blue  they are, even though they're these tiny chips of 70 year old cardboard.

The thing that I like most about them is that when they fall off my inspiration board they can be hard to find, and I have to get LA to help me find them. Something about being a vegetarian in 2011, and asking your friend to help you track down your lost meat rations just makes me smile :)
