Yesterday at the end of a long week, LA and I picked up my friend (and our new Freckled Nester!) Amber from the airport. It was such a surreal experience- we took her to the studio, dropped her things off at the house and then went out for dinner at one of our favourite haunts. We've been talking about her moving here for month and have always dreamed about being able to be friends in the same city, and to know it's finally here is exciting but still hard for me to really believe.
Amber's moving into her new apartment at the start of September and is living with Jesse and I until then, so I'll have lots of time to start believing that she's here to stay. In the mean time I'm incredibly excited to spend time with her, and a sunshiney Friday Finds on a cloudy day seemed completely appropriate :)

I’m loving the mustardy happy colors! I can’t even imagine how excited you must be to have a good friend move near you–while it’s fun to visit my scattered friends, having them close to home would be nice too!
Isn’t it wonderful when your friends are back in the same city. My friend Sarah and I have been trying to get back in the same city for 3 years now. I love the sunshiney finds (and how they match your nailpolish in your header). I want that scarf!
