I've been away from blogging for a while now but I miss it like crazy… so I dove in and video blogged for the first time in a couple of years! I tried to keep it short but this scratches the surface in what's been happening in my world, including how I've spent my down time searching for cute old timey boys for my new Pinterest board “Hunks of History”.

Reminds me of a blog post I started once where I was going to list the most appealing female celebrity each year since the 30s. It all fell apart when I couldn’t decide just how many years to give to Angie Dickinson during the 60s.
It is possible that I come up with goofy ideas for blog posts.

Glad to see you’re back! Funny thing — right after we bought our house, our water heater tank exploded too. But we weren’t living in the house yet because we had people working on it… which means we had installed brand new floors a week before and then that room was flooded for a couple of days until I stopped by to drop some stuff off. The joys of homeownership, huh? <3 Anyway — so happy you're back!
Yay! Happy to hear that there are so many great things in the works for you and FN right now Kyla! THough with every great thing comes SO MUCH work, and of course the normal crazy life stuff that pops up amidst your own planning. Boy do I know that game! You’re just the cutest thing. It was great to hear from you and get a little update on what you’re up to!
Oh, I loved this! Your recap of your “how I plan for moving” strategy made me LOL because I can completely relate to the “let’s wait until 3 1/2 seconds before we move to pack” mindset. We just moved last week, on the day before Thanksgiving. And because that decision wasn’t stressful enough, I also decided (early on) that we’d be able to do it all in one day but that ended up being FALSE. I have a husband who works retail/nights (which means he basically lived at work last weekend since it was the busiest shopping season of the year) and 3 kiddos; my decision to wait until the last minute to pack/plan for this move was poor…to say the least. Thanks for sharing :)
