weekly weak knees

Weekly Weak Knees is a collection of my favourite posts from around the web, as well as posts that my readers have been loving. I've been trying to find a place that it fits on my blog, and I've settled on every other Friday to spice things up, without losing Friday Finds.

I haven't run a WWK post in a little while, so this one will be written just by me, but if you would like to be featured you can find out how to submit links & your comments here. Enjoy the links! xo

Dear Photograph is my current tumblr obsession, thanks to Leigh-Ann

Skunkboy Creatures is one of my favourite blogs, and her daughter's guest posts are the cutest things ever!

You can be all vintage inspired all the time- Warby Parker has branched out into sunglasses.
This style is called the Tenley which I'm pretending is named for a former Bachelor contestant.

Simple and beautiful DIY's make me sigh- I would love to make this into a retail display for necklaces.

The typography geek in me is obsessed with the All of The Lights video (The music geek is too)

Have you heard about using silver clay for jewelry making? It's 925 silver and it still needs to be fired, but it's more like a polymer clay until that point, which makes the process so much more approachable. Katie from What Katie Does blogged about a workshop she attended a while ago that looked amazing- and the photo above is of her creations. I want to try this!

This Prize Pie Dress from Modcloth reminds me of Pushing Daisies, my newest addiction :)

When I made my new Hands On page, which holds the links for my favourite posts, projects and recipes (a photo index is coming soon!) I realized that when it comes to making food, I have a sweet tooth that knows no bounds- and very few savoury recipes up my sleeve. Emma's blog, Food Coma features delicious vegetarian food like this veggie sandwich and is inspiring me to expand my cooking skills!

Happy Ca-Merica Weekend!

I hope you have a long weekend underway, and a great time celebrating – and don't forget to submit links to your favourite posts for the next weekly weak knees post.
