In 2010 I posted about my inspiration and goals every month, and it was a fun mini-project that I've been starting to miss. I was thinking that it would be fun to start working on it with the seasons, which is perfect for me because I love seasonal foods and fashion a frightening amount- don't you?

Super cute nail polish – I painted my nails a pale peach and then added off center turquoise triangles to two nails on each hand. It's geometric & geeky, and I get to look at them all day long. Perfect!

Dreaming outside of middle ages – I have a very active imagination, and for the past  two months almost 75% of my dreams have taken place in the middle ages. Initially I was so excited! And then they wouldn't stop. Let me tell you some things about the middle ages: there is no air conditioning, no vegetarian food, no health care, and not a lot to do. Lately there's been more and more present day, and now I'm having incredibly detailled shopping dreams on most nights. At this rate I might actually get my Christmas shopping done early this year.

Hot Food + Cold Drinks – This weekend we had a big BBQ for Jesse's birthday at the house, and it was so much fun! There's nothing like tasty food in the sun, with cold drinks nearby in a cooler filled with ice. It felt like camping, only with a clawfoot tub and espresso on hand!

Decorating the Studio – I'm getting out of the habit of working from home and getting back into working at the studio, and decorating my inspiration board is on my mind. I've been collecting magazine clippings and plotting about pinterest pins to send to the printers, and I think I'm going to start sharing photos of my progress.

Re-organize my blog – I can't wait until I have a little spare time so I can go through my blog archives and patch things up! I have big plans for a big blogroll update and adding a beautiful index in that will help steer new readers through project posts, recipes and all kinds of hands on items that have been a little hard to find.

Get the puppies in a class – The little dogs have been amazing lately, but I really want to get them into some kind of an obedience class just to make sure I'm doing the right things with them when I correct them, and to make sure I can trust their recall. I would love to wander off leash with them eventually and there's only one way to see that day soon: plan + act.

Try my hand at fashion blogging – I'm not going to do a full six months + six dresses challenge, but the summer is such a fun time to share more pictures! I've barely shown any photos of my new sleeve at all so far, and this will not stand :)

Work out a weekly routine that works – I love (love) discovering new things that work for me, especially when it comes to managing my time. I'm trying to slowly weed out the things that slow me down and pack my week full of mini-motivators that will keep me revved up and productive.

Do you have any goals for this summer?
