I love playing with colour in design and in my home, and to me there's nothing more summary than pairing teal with reds or adding new airy photography to my walls. I am OBSESSED with teal and red right now, especially for the kitchen. At least once a week, I tell my husband, “That’s the shade of teal I want to paint our future kitchen!” or “We could buy that towel when our kitchen is teal and red.” Obsessed.

i love teal, anything ocean colored really. we just finished decorating our living room with lots of teal accents everywhere but i love how there are so many other colors mixed in here. i also love playing hostess, so much fun. i ‘ll send you that recipe for couscous soon, its perfect for a summer bbq.

I almost NEVER have people over, I think it’s because I work from home and have people (kids) here all day- when I’m done work I just want my space to be my own. LAME I know.
Oooh, these colors pop so much – pretty! We definitely play host for dinner occasionally, ever since we got our table! Can be a little stressful but usually is so much fun. We will soon be incorporating fiestaware into our lives so that alone will be a huge change with color! :)
We don’t host people very often – our place is SO small, it’s hard to cram in even one more person! I love those drinking straws :)
Does playing host to two little girls every few days count? =) Haven’t really hosted anyone since I’ve moved and I miss it! We should have a lot going on August through the fall, though, with people coming up for holidays and etc. I’m pretty excited about it. Love the colors you found, they look amazing!

Rob and I don’t host nearly enough as I’d like. We live so far from everyone and don’t have a ton of friends in the area we live in now….but I love everything you’ve posted here! I hope when we have a house we can have some fun parties :)
