Between working with Urban Outfitters and Threadless, Charmaine Olivia's work is hard to miss- but while I've seen her work I only recently found her blog and seen her work all in one place. I have to say I'm more than a little swept away.

I love the natural textures in the backgrounds, the tattoos and tan lines and how the women in her work are both sexy and effortless, every day and other worldly. I stumbled into a shop that had large format prints of her deer and bird pieces this week, and had to use all my self restraint to avoid redecorating our house. I've mostly had photography in our house until now, but these are making me re-think my walls entirely.

Do you have paintings in your home?

I have mostly photography- with the exception of a vintage portrait wall I've been building.

I need to branch out!
