What's this? Weekly Weak Knees is a collection of the things that are making me happy this week. ? Make your own no slip rug, care of a glue gun (or caulk) and Pinterest. This is one of those ideas that's so simple and practical that it makes you shake your head. Also, is there a situation in which a slippy mat would be desirable? Because I would love it if the mat industry took this step for me.

Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the article on saying no. I really, really need to work on that :) Does anyone not? haha
I’ve been crafting and DIYing hardcore for the last six weeks, and have been trying to post about my wedding for the last two weeks, and felt totally uninspired. Finally found the inspiration I was looking for late last week and managed to write something for the first time in a while. Will be checking some of the links here as I am sure to need more inspiration–I’ve got lots to write about!

Your weekly weak knees posts are always the best! I hadn’t heard about the how they blog website, so glad I found it on here! I also have to try that strawberry rhubarb crisp hopefully they will have some rhubarb ready at the farmers market soon (: looking forward to next weeks weak knees.

(Look, I’m not defending slippy mats but I will say that mats with non-slip rubber backings get seriously manky whenever I try to wash them. Just sayin’.)
It might sound silly, but I’ve been inspired lately by nerdy things, namely Star Trek and the new bottom of the to-do list when I get busy, and I’m making a concerted effort to drop such a bad habit.

I was just inspired by a pic my sister took while walking. It was a homemade box for a free library. It works on an honor system. I thought it was the coolest idea. I am always encouraging people to read.
