Training Week at Freckled Nest HQ

This week has been a complete whirlwind! At Freckled Nest HQ we’ve been working hard with our design clients while training our new Customer Service Manager, who is also my best friend from Vancouver, Amber. She’s incredible at what she’s doing for us, and I’ve already informally changed her job title to E-Mail Fairy God Mother :)

I’ve heard it said that while you’re working for your business it’s very difficult to also work on your business. I can definitely see why people say that, and I’m so excited for the new projects and possibilities having Amber working with us will open up. There will be lots of photos and adventures to come in the next month!

This week has been one of stepping back and reflecting about how lucky I am to do what I do, and to have an amazing business partner and mentor like Leigh-Ann. Now having Amber with us, it’s incredibly gratifying to be able to share such a unique job and lifestyle with someone I’ve known and shared my hopes with for the past seven years. I feel like every day Amber, LA and I are unwrapping a beautiful gift that came from LA’s imagination- it’s a wonderful adventure and I’m so happy that our Freckled Nest family is growing :)
