Ash had been very excited about my getting contacts for some time, and complemented me on my new look when I came home from the appointment.
I didn’t grasp his ulterior motives until very recently.

I'm Kyla Roma- a web designer, puppy mama & wife, and a partner in Freckled Nest, a boutique web design company. I love your layout. Those tiny polka dots are so cute! How are you liking your contacts? I couldn’t imagine life without them. Next best thing after LASIK and I can’t quite afford that yet.

I’m really loving my contacts, I’m definitely still adjusting to them & I sometimes have a little trouble reading with them, but I’m only a few days in. Overall? It’s love. :)

I too love the new look! I’ve been having such a hard time with the look of my blog lately and it is driving me nuts! I’m trying to get it the way I want it before baby comes (3 weeks – yikes!) because I know I want have time to think about the look of it afterwards.
I thought your site was gorgeous before–and now it looks even better!
Clicked around a bit and found your Four Little Pots project; what a fantastic idea! I’ve been wanting to grow a few small pots of herbs but am afraid I won’t be able to find seedlings this late in the year and growing from seeds makes me feel a little panicky. maybe next year…
I’m a big fan of buying fresh herbs from farmer’s markets too, it’s a much quicker turnaround compared to growing from seed ;)

How are you adjusting to the contacts? They took me a few weeks to get used to, and I still adore my glasses, but the contacts are great for a lot of things.

I’m definitely still adjusting, but even though it’s only been a few days I’m getting used to them really quickly. I think it’s mostly the mental adjustment of feeling like I shouldn’t be able to see when I don’t have my frames on!
That little guy is too cute! He can break hearts with those stunna shades :)
You have the most adorable site!
I use both contacts and glasses. I cannot stand to wear my glasses out, even though they are cute, so I wear my contact instead. Thankfully our insurance covers the exams and I only change my frames every two years. 800Contacts is my go to for Focus550 contacts. I hope you enjoy them!
Oh and the bloggy makeover is awesome! I love how it turned out. :)
Thanks for the tip! I’m definitely going to look for online options, contacts are really convenient but one of mine is special & I could see the cost racking up!
