June’s dress is a little late, but it’s definitely my favourite so far. It’s so lightweight and comfortable that it was perfect for the summer street festivals between Canada Day & the long weekend. Even in the crushing heat!
I bought it at H&M in Seattle for about $35. Being at the half way point of my mini-fashion blogging challenge is exciting and I definitely feel like I have more than my usual jeans & t-shirts to draw on when I’m going out. I’ve bought the first three dresses new, so from here on out I’ll be finding them at thrift shops – now that I’m more comfortable buying dresses in general, I’m graduating to vintage.

Okay so far totally my favorite dress! I absolutely love the color.
I adore the dress, but love the shoes. I’m a bit of a shoe hag so it’s always the first thing I see. Overall, super cute and perfect for an easy breezy summer day. :)

Oh, and I was reading through a Minneapolis/St Paul magazine this weekedn and it turns out the Fringe Festival makes as top in Minneapolis, too! Who knew!

That color is gorgeous, and I love that style of dress. It looks wonderful on you! By far, it’s my favorite so far, too! I need to play along with you, even if I’m a little late, because lately, I’ve noticed that all I tend to do is gravitate to what’s comfortable and safe – usually jeans and a t-shirt. They’re fine to wear every once in a while, but I really need to add in more variety and get comfortable wearing dresses and skirts and fun things like that!

When I saw that first photo, I was thinking what a cute maternity dress it would be (because that’s where my brain is these days), given where it cinches (the smallest part of your torso!). And then I saw the length and realized anyone with a belly would be showing it off to the world. hahaha! Nevertheless, it’s very cute on you!
