I'm Kyla Roma- a web designer, puppy mama & wife, and a partner in Freckled Nest, a boutique web design company. I live in the middle of the Canadian prairies and love thrifting, making things with my hands (crafts, food & baking!), analog photography, dreaming, planning, listening to old Rolling Stones records and knitting.

When I’m a passenger in the car with Mister I’m constantly attempting to hand jive to every song that comes on the radio, just to be a ridiculous person. You can’t count it out, it’s a lot of fun! =)
I’ll agree with you on everything except micro brews vs. wine.
And right now, here in Chicago – this is the big one on my mind:

I go through phases with my beverages, after a lot of pinot noir this winter I’m loving some fun light (cheaper!) beers as an alternative. Mostly I’m loving that I can have them with food that’s fresh off my BBQ. Summer > winter for sure!

Awesome list. I’m definitely with you on the books over ebooks thing. I just won’t give in and be a Kindle or e-reader kind of girl. Not gonna happen.
For me… Fridays are better than Mondays. Econ is shcokingly better than Finance. Getting up early on a Saturday is better than sleeping in (as of late, and shocking that I wrote that). Best long distances friends are better than semi-close in real life friends.

I am SO with you on hardcover > ebooks. I just don’t get the huge following that the Kindle has! I think if you are a true book lover, a major part of the reading experience is feeling that book in your hands, taking in that book smell, turning the pages as you read…it’s an experience!!
I’ve been making an effort on the whole being honest > being polite thing… for the most part I am this way, for the most part. However, there are those select few people where I always seem to choose politeness over truth and I hate myself for it!! One day I’ll learn to just let go and let them know how I feel. One day.
