The winter months can be terrible – dry, dark, depressing – so in January and February I’ve been doing winter survival kit giveaways! Everything in them is local to me so it won’t just rescue you from the cold and whisk you into some coziness, it’s also a little bundle of prairie life.
Winter Survival Kit #2
- Loose black tea (a mega fancy estate Assam) & tea ball ready for use
- Oversized white knit neck warmer for staying warm in the winter (made by me)
- Clodhopper candy which if you have not had you have not lived. Locally made of course.
- Pins, pouch & barrettes from local handmade maven Sew Dandee!

The hair pins look cute but the badge- well I have no idea what 204 stands for. I’m guessing it’s the outline of a state but I thought you only had 50 odd states so it can’t be a 204th state. Showing my real ignorance of the US here… I was also going to ask you- if you’re going vegan for a month, is Mister staying non-vegan? How do you work that? I would love to go veggie but my boyfriend is a meat at every meal kinda guy, and I think it would be pretty difficult to try to have him eat meat and me eat veggie, but maybe you have some tips?

They’re actually bunches of chocolate coated crunchy graham crackers…kind of, but they’re way crispier and lighter than you would expect. They’re amazing!
