When I wrote about how we got a treadmill after New Years as part of a dual “let’s get fit” and “WE’RE IN THE MIDDLE OF A DAMNED PUPPY MUTINY!!” response plan, the message was loud and clear:
1. Some of you think we’re clearly a little nuts. Thank you for keeping score, we are.
2. You would like us to document the crazy more closely. On video if possible.
Far be it from me to deprive you of that, after all it’s not your fault I can’t have you all over for tea so you can see this madness first hand, I would like to present to you: the puppy treadmill, on video…

Ash is doing really well after the tussle earlier this month, and while Mal is not very keen on the treadmill we’re sure that given some time he’ll be just as enthusiastic as his brother. Or slightly less certain that being around it means certain death. One or the other.
p.s. – It’s very hard to film and take pictures of these boys where they aren’t just in silhouette, even their EYES are black, I hope you could make them out!
p.p.s. – If you are going to try this, be responsible. Don’t ever tie your dog up and walk away, don’t put them on for extended periods of time, and don’t force them if they’re scared. Use your head. Don’t do drugs. Stay in school.

My dad’s Jack Russel needs to do this. She HATES Edie and tries to go after her and then Edie defends herself and has like 15 pounds on her so yeah, my dog looks like the bad guy :(

AHHH! The preciousness of this video was almost too much. My mom needs to get this for our dog Sam. He’s a shih tzu, & nearly 30 lbs (which is pretty much obese for that breed).

Your puppies are so cute I could squeal. I can hardly believe that one of them is trotting on the treadmill just like that. I wouldn’t mind doing this someday. When I get a dog of course. And a treadmill.
Also, remember how you posted about the fabric wall panels you put together? I’m sure you did, but you inspired me and I did a similar project and I just blogged about it. :)

Very cute, we have good weather here in Arizona all year round so we don’t have to indoor treadmill our dogs, just run them around the community.
