My boyfriend hated it last year. He was so annoyed putting it up with me that I did it without him this year, and what does he say? "I thought we were going to do it together." I can't win! Basically, we go out spontaneously. Sometimes, we just make a short drive to look at Christmas lights. Other times, we drive an hour away to do some random shopping.
