Winter nesting is the BEST! The only thing that keeps me from decorating my house for Christmas right this second is the fact that all of my decorations are in the far corner of my storage shed. I think my hubby did that on purpose.
PS: Combos & Mountain Dew are aforementioned husband’s favorite choice of breakfast. Barf.
PPS: Love the shiv with a wreath! Srsly giggled.

Um, the fact that the link for this post involves the words “I will cut you” totally made me giggle just now. The thought of you cutting anyone is utterly hilarious, for some reason.

Heehee.

Anyway, I think that the idea of nesting for the rest of the year sound ridiculously appealing! I approve, and I would like to do the same thing myself, except that nesting sounds like it should involve warm blankets, a fire in the fireplace and wearing a ridiculous amount of scarves…none of which are a part of my life here in Southern California.

Booo! Hissss!

Anyway, enjoy the calm ahead of you. I’d say you definitely deserve a break!

PS: Thank you for the sweet card and the yummy candy! Totally enjoyed both late last night.

PPS: I went to a delicious vegan/veggie place a little bit ago and totally thought of you. There was some ridiculously unique and delicious things on the menu – it was delightful! So, I tend to agree that people should have more to offer the veggie people of the world – aside from just a plain salad or a greasy veggie burger, like you mentioned.

Oh Boy! I feel for you! I’m not a big fan of watching sports but I sure love traveling… With in-laws? Maybe not So good job for surviving it!

I think it’s a perfect time to just stay home. Warm & cozy. Husband and I are planning on staying in for the holidays, but we may go away sometime in January to visit family. Other than that, I’m staying grounded.

I completely hear you on hunkering down for the winter! But…we don’t get a real winter (or at least not til our Feb move to Maine, which is the opposite of hibernating!), so I’m guessing we’re not eligible. We have too many travel plans, and I swear, one year we’re going to take a page from your book and just stay put!

OMG Girl are you preggers? Lol, j/k, but the nesting instinct DOES kick in when hormones are amuck. No, I completely agree, I think travelling and being trapped in cars and all that jazz put a damper on my bf love of christmas in the past years – since his family is all split up and he has to go to like 5 different houses for christmas… I think I’d go nuts too.

I don’t think I could handle another long road trip, the longest I’ve been on was 33 hours to college. It was fun at first but then it got really tiring.

I can’t wait until Winter.. the Holidays and all the romantic stuff!
