I was just thinking about how I really want to do something like this with Jay. There's something about packing up a cooler with a bunch of goodies - you're right. And sandwiches always become a bit more exciting when they're eaten somewhere new. Heehee. I think the last time I've done something like that was last summer, with my best friend. We packed up leftover coconut shrip, corn on the cob, nectarines, chips and bottles of water for a day at the beach. Needless to say, it was the greatest beachside picnic of all time. And I agree with you when you said, "I love the moments when the world feels so utterly uncomplicated." Seriously, those are the moments that get me through every day. This is incredibly sweet!
