Grand adventures for another day

I had such wild adventures this weekend, sparrows, but I just can’t bring myself to write you the stories today because as I’m writing, it’s 9:30 pm and I’m in my pajamas. Two six day work weeks in a row (my idea! Freelance = all my drinks in Vegas are paid for now) have left me totally knocked off my feet, so the windows are open and there is a spring breeze calling my name.

This weekend I played with an old 3-legged feline friend, captured and returned a lost puppy to his parents, slept, did battle against chaos inside a Little Caesar’s and won, haggled for the first time, drank pink lemon aid, ran, did yoga, had a bubble bath, watched the newest star trek and the oldest Terminator movie, ate cinnamon buns, found my best vintage finds to date, had a massive Ikea fail…

….and fell asleep before I told any of my stories.

Hope your weekends weren’t quite so fever pitched, and I’m excited to read your tales between pots of coffee this morning.

Yay for vintage finds. Your weekend sounds like it was fantastic Kyla! Pink lemonade always makes me think of summer.

Sounds like a whirlwind of a weekend! And I’d love to hear of your vintage finds – I did some thrift store shopping this weekend and found some amazing housewares.

I have been finding that my weekends lately are not at all weekends but in fact marathons in patience, lack of sleep, errands, parties and obligations. It’s not very fun at all to be entirely honest with you =)

Your weekend, despite the IKEA fail sounds quite intriguing.

Hope the caffeine does you some good!

Sounds wonderful, actually. I’m hoping to conjure up some adventure this week…I’ve been too boring lately. ;)

Also, Star Trek was awesome, Ikea is always a fail for me (that mega-store is a panic attack waiting to happen for me), now I’m craving pink lemonade, want to do yoga and can’t wait to hear about your vintage finds while I go look for some of my own.

Adore you. :)

Your weekend sounds like it was fabulous, even if you did work Saturday. Nothing wrong with it if it’s paying your way in Vegas! (I need to find something like that pronto!)

I hope you’re having a fabulous week so far!
