Thank you for all the kind words and e-mails this week, I’ve been something of a jittery mess but I appreciate them! In other exciting news I’m ONE subscriber away from 200 subscribers! Want to be Number 200? Fire up that google reader and pop in a feed.

I told Mister about my subscriber count yesterday morning and his exact words were: “See, you don’t need friends!………………Oh, wait. That came out wrong. I mean it’s okay that your friends are all moving away next year! Oh that’s not much better is it? Um… Ok – Hurray for internet friends!”. I will take number three and a bottle of wine, thank you.

And did you miss my big news yesterday? (Rewind!)

{megan horsburgh}

This week my best friend and her boyfriend are moving into their first place – five blocks away from me! On Tuesday night she and I loaded The Kyla Mobile full of boxes and anticipation, and I got to see her new home for the first time. Having moved twice last year, the smell of cardboard and the puffs of ice fog hanging in the air while we loaded in and out was overwhelmingly familiar. I’m so happy Mister and I aren’t moving again for some years, and I’m excited that my friend gets to stay put for as long as she wants now too.

I’m still very thrown by all that I’m considering professionally and I would kind of like to put all interviews, decisions, and current employment challenges off to the side for a while in lieu of hiding out in the museum of natural history for a summer. Who wants to come with me? Andrea, are you in?

Click on the picture and scroll down to the “highlights” section to see film of Lily modeling while the photographer works. If you’ve ever wondered what they pay models for, seeing her work is the answer. There’s an interview with her too, for which I would award her the title: Most Emotive Person Ever.

Did you know that hedgehogs need to have their toe nails clipped?

I know. The world is a better place for me too.

{from my etsy shop}

And I actually got a start on restocking my store! Because I like keeping promises, and this is one that’s pretty easy to keep.

Have a great weekend!

I wished so bad you were on Facebook the other night as you were definitely the Queen of my status after you helped me haul my crap to the new house. Twice. In minus thirty!!! You absolutely RULE and I cannot wait to be living down the road from you. YAY :) :)

Museum? *Ears perk up* As in a real musem or That Movie, which I still haven’t ever seen. Either way can I be counted in? *Bat bat* :)

And thank you for the little hedgehod picture. I kind of want to frame him and hang him up in my new house. :)

Girl, you know you’re already in my Reader. Seriously. How do you think I know you just posted? I promise I’m not stalking your blog. Merely indirectly stalking it through my Reader. BTW, how the heck do you know how many subscribers you have? I’m an idiot when it comes to that!

Hedgehogs need to have their toes clipped? Talk about an interested fact.

I was actually thinking of going to a museum myself this weekend! Hopefully I won’t be too lazy and end up staying at home. ;)

Have a great weekend!

i’m so confused… are you “growing your family”? was it supposed to be discreet in the post and i totally missed it yesterday? or were you really talking about something else and i’m just totally baby crazy?

Also, I just added you to my reader. I had tried before, but for some reason it didn’t like the idea of giving me your feeds… so I just came here everyday hoping for a new post.

Maybe I’m 200?

I am obsessed with hedgehogs and have been debating for the last year whether or not I should get one. I am kind of afraid that my dog will think its a toy and go for it. But I really want one, I would name him Humphrey.

Really and truly, how adorable is Humphrey the Hedgehog???

How do you find out how many subscribers you have? I can’t figure it out!

This is more about the last post: Sometimes I wonder if I have a professional-woman job/life (even if only in it’s early stages) and I don’t even know it. One moment I realize I’m working on national marketing and then next I get mad at my boyfriend for not understanding why I’m giving him the silent treatment.

Maybe you’re closer to the kind of life those women have than you recognize?

p.s. I’m getting bangs cut tomorrow. Ahh! You’re definitely a testimony to their success though! Well, you and christina ricci..

Oh, how fun to have a good friend as your neighbor. Some of my friends live down the hall from me, and I’ve become friends with a few other neighbors. It’s great to get together and not have to drive anywhere, etc.

Happy Saturday!

Is it bad that I really, really want a hedge hog? Is that even normal?

To be honest, it’s 99% because of this video:

Well, I added you to my reader! I actually had intended to do this a while ago. But I just got a reader and didn’t know how to work it. This whole week I’ve been wondering why you weren’t blogging! I told myself I had to rely on my reader instead of typing in everyone’s blog address. (I think I am the blogger with the most blog addresses memorized.) So I thought you weren’t blogging! But then I realized I plugged you in to something different than the ‘reader’.

Regardless, I’m really happy I have lots of posts to read on this fine Monday and I’m really happy you are still blogging frequently!
